PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate, in a short time with less cost, a distortion of a plurality of bent connectors made from stranded wires of the same kind.;SOLUTION: A distortion estimation method includes steps (S3, S8, S13) for measuring characteristic based on the bending shape of stranded wires, about the stranded wires forming a lead wire of a connector, steps (S7, S12, S17) which estimate, based on the characteristic of the stranded wires, a characteristic of a rod having a characteristic equivalent to the stranded wires being not based on the bending shape of the rod, and a step (S20) in which, when the rod having an estimated characteristic is bent in the shape of the lead wire and is vibrated, the distortion occurring at the rod is estimated as the distortion of the lead wire.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
