Oil-in-water emulsion, method for modifying the wetting ability of water-to-oil wettable sandstone rock, and use of an emulsion the present invention relates to the oil recovery method by modifying the capacity moisturizing rock from hydrophobic to oleophytic using hydrophobic compounds. Specifically, the present invention relates to the application of oil-in-water emulsions based on silicon and fluorine-free hydrophobic compounds to enhance oil recovery in mature sandstone-type reservoirs after water injection.
