The present invention relates to a collection device for automatic garbage pick-up equipment. According to the present invention, garbage transport can be expedited, garbage can be discharged through a single slot, and the discharged garbage can be stored in a single garbage storage unit before transport toward a garbage pick-up site through a transport pipe, and thus the installation area for collection device installation can be minimized. The present invention includes a garbage storage unit that is horizontally disposed in a building basement and has a pillar shape to be capable of storing incoming garbage; a slot opening/closing unit that is disposed on one side surface of the garbage storage unit and is opened/closed in response to users operation key recognition on an RF reader so that the garbage can be put in; and a discharge port opening/closing unit that is disposed on the other side surface of the garbage storage unit and is opened/closed in response to control from a pick-up site control center so that the stored garbage can be discharged toward a transport pipe directed toward the pick-up site. When the user operates a close button of the slot opening/closing unit after putting in the garbage and the slot opening/closing unit is closed, the garbage storage unit can transport the garbage to the other side surface of the garbage storage unit. Also, when the discharge port opening/closing unit is opened/closed in response to the control from the pick-up site control center, the garbage storage unit can rotate by a driving means which drives in response to control from a control unit so that the stored garbage can be discharged toward the transport pipe.
