The present invention related to a simulation apparatus and a method for checking precipitation of proppant in various artificial cracks in shale gas oilfield includes: a container having a space therein and designed to block light from the outside; a sample holder having a transparent holder body with a passage therein and a lid opening and closing the passage of the holder body; a proppant precipitation sensor having more than one light emitting units which are placed by a certain distance following the moving direction of proppant slurry accommodated in the sample holder and emit light, and a plurality of light receiving units measuring the light passing through the sample holder, and measuring the precipitation of slurry proppant; and a controller which calculates precipitation data based on a value received from the light receiving unit.
