PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression strength estimation method for soil cement that may be performed in a short period with high accuracy.SOLUTION: When estimating compression strength of soil cement constituting a foot protection part in a pile embedding method, unsolidified soil cement is collected at the foot protection part first. The collected soil cement is heat-insulated and stored. Temperature change during solidification of the heat-insulated soil cement is measured. Using a highest temperature among the changing temperatures of the soil cement, a cement-water ratio at the foot protection part is calculated by an equation representing a correlation between the highest temperature during solidification of soil cement and the cement-water ratio of soil cement. Then, using the calculated cement-water ratio, compression strength of the solidified soil cement at the foot protection part is calculated by an equation representing a correlation between the cement-water ratio of soil cement and the compression strength of soil cement.SELECTED DRAWING: None
