PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect both a line of sight and a face posture of an object person simultaneously and correctly, while suppressing costs of a system.;SOLUTION: A face detection system of the embodiment includes: a camera for pupils including a light source; a camera for nostrils for performing imaging by using light from the light source of the camera for pupils; an image acquisition unit for acquiring a pupil image of an object person by controlling the camera for pupils, and also, for acquiring a nostril image of the object person by controlling the camera for nostrils; a line of sight calculation unit for calculating pupil coordinates from the pupil image, and for calculating the line of sight based on the pupil coordinates; and a face posture calculation unit for calculating nostril center coordinates from the nostril image and for calculating a face posture vector of the object person based on the pupil coordinates and the nostril center coordinates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
