METHOD TO CALCULATE RADIUS OF STRONG WIND AND STORM OF TYPHOON USING SATELLITE DATA OF COMMUNICATION, OCEAN AND METEOROLOGICAL SATELLITE

Disclosed is a method to calculate a radius of a strong wind and a storm of a typhoon using satellite data of a communication, ocean, and meteorological satellite (COMS) which increases accuracy. The method to calculate the radius of the strong wind and storm of the typhoon using satellite data of the COMS comprises: a process of defining a symmetric wind speed (V(r′)) of a typhoon by the following mathematical equation; a process of modeling two relaxation coefficients (a1, a2) using satellite data of the COMS; and a process of using the two relaxation coefficients (a1, a2) to calculate the radius of the strong wind and storm of the typhoon.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
