PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processability, the degree of freedom of part shapes and thermal fatigue life by applying high temperature molding for resolving the limitation of part shapes due to the reduction of processability at an ordinary temperature and the reduction of thermal fatigue life.SOLUTION: There is provided a ferritic stainless steel sheet for an automotive exhaust system member suitable for high temperature press molding containing, by mass%, C:0.001 to 0.020%, Si:0.05 to 1.5%, Mn:0.05 to 1.5%, P0.035%, S0.015%, Cr:13 to 23%, V:0.01 to 0.3%, Al:0.003 to 0.5%, N:0.002 to 0.020%, and further one or more kind of Mo:0.01 to 3.0%, Cu:0.01 to 3.0%, Nb:0.1 to 1.0%, W2% and Ni1.5% with the formula (1) of 13Nb+3Mo+4W+2Cu-Ni4.8 satisfied and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
