摘要

Present invention provides specially designed and developed an evolving intrusion detection system for mobile ad-hoc network based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). To deal with more and more frequent distributed, multi-objective, multi-stage modular network attacks, increase in high bandwidth, large scale network environment, the efficiency of intrusion detection and to reduce false negative rate and shorten the testing time, intrusion detection model based on particle swarm is proposed. It has a shorter reduction time than other approaches like genetic algorithm etc., and has a higher network intrusion detection rate. The proposed system provides an efficient intrusion detection system as a solution over major attack types. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing the general framework for intrusion detection system.
