Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) pulp can be processed into delicacies and pastry products. Generally, tilis newly processed past:Iy is sweet delicacy which is made from Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) pulp, butter, sugar, milk and vanilla. The finished product has many benefits to the end users since it is rich in energy, dietary fiber minerals and vitamins and free from saturated fats or cholesterol which strengthens ti1e immune system. It can also save the surplus harvest and serve us the source of income of farmers. Mangosteen pulp can be processed into delicacies and pastry products. As observed there are none yet available prepared mangosteen pulp pastry in the market; hence the product was conceptualized by processing it into pastry product, wherein several steps were followed in processing the utility model: Process of producing pastry product from Mangosteen ( Garcinia mangostana) Pulp comprising the following steps: a.) creaming of butter soft and fluffy in a mixing bowl; b.) adding of sugar little by little while mixing; c.) breaking of egg in a mixture one at a time and beat well until blended; d.) adding of mangosteen pulp, milk , flour, vanilla and continue beating until smooth; e.) pouring of mixture into tart molder; f.) baking the ingredients for 10-20 minutes; and g.) packaging of finished product using the readymade cellophane bag. For every recipe, 20 packs of finished product were produced
