The present invention relates to a Network Function Virtualization (NFV) service provider, a Virtual Network Function (VNF) service provider, a system for extending service chaining comprising an NFV service service provider and a VNF service provider, and a method for extending service chaining. A system for extending service chaining according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an NFV service provider which provides NFV-based network service to a user, and which includes an NFVO adapted to request generation of a VNF; and a VNF service provider which is located within a network different from a network of the NFV service provider, and which generates the VNF requested by the NFV service provider. In this case, the NFVO transfers VNF detail information, including information about the amount of resources required to generate the VNF, and service chaining information, including information required to extend service chaining, to the VNF service provider, and the VNF service provider checks whether available resources are present in infrastructure resources possessed by the VNF service provider of infrastructure resources, rented from a cloud service provider, based on the VNF detail information.
