A method of demosaicking a Bayer image according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of reconstructing a G (green) plane from a Bayer image and a step of estimating at least one of an R (red) plane or a B (blue) plane by using a guided filter based on a reconstructed G plane. So, it is possible to provide improved quality demosaicking results without performing a refinement process after an RGB plane estimation from the Bayer image.
