An optical excitation device (20) for generating stimulated Raman processes, said optical device (20) for receiving the laser beam (11) of a pulsed laser source (10). The optical device (20) has an optical splitter for separating the laser beam on a first and a second path (210, 220). The first channel (210) comprises a first optical fiber (211) and a frequency pre-drift system adapted to apply a first frequency time drift. The optical device (20) further comprises a second optical fiber (233) arranged to recover first and second sub-beams (21, 22) at the output of the first and second channels (210, 220) and to apply them a second time frequency drift, the second optical fiber (233) and the frequency pre-drift system being configured so that the first and second sub-beams (21, 22) have the same frequency drift. The invention further relates to a measurement system and an excitation method.
