A bayonet type welding-free energy saving lamp cap includes a lamp cap main portion (1), a lamp cap cover (2), a steel pin (3), and copper caps (4). Symmetrical steps (1.3), symmetrical fasteners (1.1) and a half side steel pin groove (1.2 ) are positioned on the lamp cap main portion. The copper caps are suitably positioned on the steps. Small holes (1.3.1) are also arranged in the steps. A half side steel pin groove ¡ (2.2) and fastening grooves (2.1) which can be suitably fastened by the fasteners are positioned on the lamp cap cover. The lamp cap cover is suitably connected to the lamp cap main portion by the fasteners and the fastening grooves. The steel pin is arranged in a cavity that is formed by the half side steel pin groovesâ , ¡.The steel pin is a complete steel pin and the structure of the lamp cap is different from the structure of the common B22 lamp cap whose two sides are inserted by steel pins respectively. Because the complete steel pin can pass through the cavity that is formed by the half side steel pin groovesâ , ¡, the complete steel pin can not move and rotate in the steel pin groove.
