In the present invention, by inactivating a CyHV-2 virus, a highly effective CyHV-2 infectious disease vaccine is obtained. Also by the present invention, a method is developed for continuous propagation of the CyHV-2 virus, which was conventionally difficult. Use of this propagation method makes it possible to mass-produce a CyHV-2 infectious disease vaccine.
