Disclosed are nucleotide sequences encoding novel chimeric insecticidal proteins that exhibit lepidoptera inhibitory activity. Certain embodiments provide compositions and transformed plants, plant parts, and seeds that contain recombinant nucleic acid molecules encoding one or more of the chimeric insecticidal proteins.
