It is a process for extracting metals from the sulfur mineral concentrates that contain them by applying direct reduction with regeneration and recycling of the iron reducing agent and sodium carbonate flux. It is a combination of pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes that are different from the conventional ones, which do not require previous roasting of sulfur mineral concentrate and which are technically and economically more advantageous than the processes currently used due to the fact that they reduce to zero the positive oxidation state. directly from metal, employing only one metal extraction reactor, regenerating and recycling metallurgical supplies with complementary processes and with a high speed in the kinetics of chemical reactions, without generating slag or contaminating gases. Metal extraction is achieved at a low cost and in an environmentally sustainable manner.
