摘要

The invention relates to a method for testing genetic resistance of potato varieties and lines in relation to the golden potato nematode, Globodera rostochiensis. According to the invention, the method consists in preparing the potato tubers, fixing them on some conical plastic tubes by means of elastic tapes, adding in each tube a mixture of sterile soil and soil initially infested with a number of 38 golden potato nematode larvae and eggs/g of soil, placing the tubers mounted on the conical tubes in optimal spaces and under optimal conditions of development for the potato plant, monitoring the pest evolution cycle of about 72...75 days, after which the bale of roots formed by the conical plastic tube is taken out to count the new formed females - future cysts - fixed on the young roots of the plant for evaluating the plant genetic resistance.
