MINING ELEVATOR PULLED BY GEARS

A mining elevator pulled by gears, mounted in the shaft wall of a secondary shaft for transporting staff and equipment. The elevator comprises a guide rail frame (1), a counterweight (4), a car (6), a fixing support (7), hoisting sheaves (2), a steel wire rope (3), a drive device (5), a travelling cable (8), and a cable reel (9). Both ends of the steel wire rope (3) are respectively connected with the car (6) and the counterweight (4); a pinion (5-4) of the drive device (5) is engaged with a rack (1-7) on the guide rail frame (1) for driving the car (6) to lift; the steel wire rope (3) is guided by the hoisting sheaves (2); the car (6) and the counterweight (4) are guided by the guide rail frame (1); the guide rail frame (1) is fixed onto the shaft wall by means of the fixing support (7); and the travelling cable (8) is accommodated in the cable reel (9). The whole system is simple in structure, safe and reliable, and convenient to mount, demands less on the perpendicularity of car guide rails (1-5), is arranged in the shaft wall, facilitates transportation of staff and equipment in related situations, and has general applicability; the traction mode is simple and feasible, the problem of relatively high requirements on perpendicularity in common traction is effectively resolved, and the mounting and maintenance are more convenient.
