The mobile application will function like similar social media platforms such as Facebook and Tinder. Firstly, when signing up you will need to create a profile about yourself. In the profile you include 1 profile picture; you select whether you are a Defence or Emergency Services former or current worker, or whether you are a spouse/partner of an officer. You then select your industry of work (or that of your spouses) (choices are Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, Air Force, Police, Paramedic, Fire & Rescue). You can select multiples if you wish (I.e. if you were a trained Paramedic in the army). You will write a bit about yourself and your life including: when you commenced working in this occupation; your job title; where you live; your hobbies and interests; marital status; children; pets; and other personal life information they are happy to voluntarily disclose. This helps to create a snapshot of them which will be matched to other user's profiles.
