The purpose of the invention is to accurately simulate a state of a member of an actual machine by a creep fatigue test. In order to simulate a state of a member subjected to a stress causing creep fatigue during operation of an actual machine, this control device for a creep test device: acquires strain-time characteristics of a test piece by subjecting the test piece to a stress control which is a control for applying a stress so as to follow the stress-time characteristics during an operation cycle of the actual machine; and repeatedly performs, for said operation cycle, a strain control which is a control for applying a stress to the test piece so as to follow a change in strain in the strain-time characteristics. For example, characteristics obtained by subjecting the member to a thermal stress analysis are used for the stress-time characteristics. The strain control is performed at least in a period in which the stress in the stress-time characteristics is constant. The actual machine is, for example, a steam turbine, and the member is, for example, at least a portion of a casing or a valve of the steam turbine.
