Disclosed are a correction data generating device, a correction data generating method thereof, and an infrared camera. The correction data generating method according to one embodiment of the present invention, wherein an infrared ray detector of a focal plane array (FPA) type for detecting infrared rays, received from lenses of the infrared camera, by pixel is used to generate correction data, comprises the steps of: setting an inner temperature of the infrared camera; detecting respective infrared images of two black bodies having different temperature values through the infrared ray detector for each of a plurality of inner temperatures set in the infrared camera; estimating first real background irradiance of the detected first infrared ray image and second real background irradiance of the detected second infrared ray image; using the estimated first and second real background irradiance to generate a gain value and an offset of each pixel according to an inner temperature change of the infrared camera; using the generated gain value and offset to generate correction data corresponding to the inner temperature of the infrared camera; and storing the generated correction data. One embodiment of the present invention can maintain uniformity of images in spite of thermal noise generated when the infrared camera is operated for a long time at a high altitude where an airplane flies.
