FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: method comprises obtaining a sequence of frames of the slot-type scanning sensor and obtaining a reference image of the underlying surface by the frame sensor. The data received by the slot-type scanning sensor is recorded on the memory device. The image formed from these data by their spatial scanning in the survey direction is compared with the georeferenced reference image and pairs of reference points corresponding to the same objects of the underlying surface are found.;EFFECT: eliminating geometric distortions of remote sensing images received by a slot-type sensor, while simultaneously bringing them to a universal coordinate grid.;6 cl, 3 dwg
