A method for real-time evaluation of the acoustic impact of a virtual wind farm (P) associated with a geographical area (Z) and comprising at least one wind turbine (E), the virtual wind farm being represented by a model (M ) comprising, for each wind turbine, at least one position of the wind turbine within the geographical area and an operating acoustic power. The method is implemented by computer means and comprises: (a) obtaining at least one meteorological measure of the geographical area, (b) using a processing module (MOD), determining a sound contribution of the virtual wind farm at least one location in the geographical area, said sound contribution being representative of a noise level generated by the virtual wind farm operating at said location due to the operating acoustic power of each wind turbine, said sound contribution being determined from said model (M) and said measurement of meteorological conditions, and (c) generating a signal (SIGN) representative of said sound contribution of the wind farm to said location.
