To provide: an oil tanker crude oil tank corrosion prevention process in which the corrosion of the bottom of oil tanker crude oil tank can be suppressed without changing the material of the tank; and an oil tanker crude oil tank corrosion prevention paint.SOLUTION: Provided is an oil tanker crude oil tank corrosion prevention process characterized in applying a paint containing an antibacterial agent to the inner surface of the crude oil tank of an oil tanker. The antibacterial agent preferably has an antibacterial action against sulfate-reducing bacteria or methanogen. Also provided is an oil tanker crude oil corrosion prevention paint characterized in containing said antibacterial agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
