To provide a mechanism that can easily operate the turning of a leg part in a foldable table, and further provide a table using the same mechanism.SOLUTION: A top part 10 includes a swing member 8 having one end supported in a freely turning manner and being swingable. A leg part 2 has an engagement part 83 engaged to the swing member in a distant position from a turning center in the upper end. The swing member has a regulation part 82 for regulating the movement of the engagement part by the engagement with the engagement part. The regulation part includes an allowable area 82a for allowing the movement of the engagement part by the turning of the leg part, a stop area 82b for stopping the movement of the engagement part in a standing state of the leg part, and a holding area 82c for limiting the turning of the leg part temporarily. A folding table includes a top plate part in the top part, and a box-shaped cargo bed dividing-table includes a fork insertion part in the top part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
