The present disclosure relates to novel materials comprising Al, Ti and Zr. The novel material can realize a single-phase region of a hexagonal close-packed (hcp) solid solution structure just below the material's solidus temperature. The novel material can comprise at least one precipitated phase and can have a solvus temperature of at least 1240 ° C. The new material contains 29.0 to 42.4 wt. % Al, 41.2-59.9 wt% Ti, and 10.3-24.1 wt. % Of Zr can be included. In one embodiment, the precipitate is selected from the group consisting of L10 phase, Al2Zr phase, and combinations thereof.
