PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering a specific exosome useful for the inspection of renal disease, and a use for a recovered exosome.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of recovering an exosome derived from a mesangial cell comprising the steps of (1) separating an exosome from a biological sample, and (2) fractionating an exosome expressing α8 integrin on its surface, from the separated exosome.SELECTED DRAWING: None
