To provide a method capable of easily estimating the tangle and the entanglement of the hair caused by the movement of the hair adapted to the walking of the humans and capable of easily and promptly screen the raw material for hair cosmetic enabled to impart the manageability to the hair by the estimation method.SOLUTION: An estimation method of manageability of the hair is configured to vertically and mechanically move a hair bundle processed by a processing agent including the testing material by a device capable of imparting vibrations to the hair bundle for 10 to 20 minutes by a sine-wave having an amplitude of 1 to 10 cm and a frequency of 1.6 to 2.3 Hz which are equal to the movement of the hair adapted to the walking of humans, and the spread and the entanglement of the hair bundle after the vibration testing are estimated.
