PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate transfer device which automatically assorts a processing type plate (which is a printing plate material or a printing plate) and a non-processing type plate while reducing a workspace, and can perform plate-making processing according to each type.;SOLUTION: This plate transfer device has: a discrimination part which discriminates whether a plate, for which image formation processing has been performed by an image formation processing device, is a processing type which requires development processing or a non-processing type which does not require development processing; a first transfer part which transfers a plate, for which image formation processing has been performed by the image formation processing device, toward a development apparatus when it is discriminated that the plate is the processing type, and which transfers a plate toward above the development apparatus when it is discriminated that the plate is the non-processing type; and a second transfer part which receives the plate, which has been discriminated as the non-processing type, from the first transfer part, and transfers toward a stocker, which can stock also the plate for which image formation processing has been performed by the image formation processing device, via just above the development apparatus.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
