PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer enhancement body capable of efficiently transferring heat to an inner wall of a radiant tube to enable further energy saving effect, and having excellent heat responsiveness, and provide a radiant tube heater.;SOLUTION: A porous ceramic-based heat transfer enhancement body having a plurality of fins is characterized in that bulk specific gravity is within a range of 0.2-0.8. The heat transfer enhancement body is also characterized in that on the external surface and inside of the heat transfer enhancement body, large pores having a bore diameter of 0.1-10 mm, and small pores having a diameter smaller than the large pores are provided; and the large pores and the small pores are distributed wholly to form irregularities on the external surface of the heat transfer enhancement body.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
