PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer enhancement body capable of efficiently transferring heat to an inner wall of a radiant tube to enable further energy saving effect, and having excellent heat responsiveness, and provide a radiant tube heater.;SOLUTION: A porous ceramic-based heat transfer enhancement body having a plurality of fins is characterized in that bulk specific gravity is within a range of 0.2-0.8.
