method of controlling the use by the worker of personal protective equipment (epi) in an industrial environment with the use of radiofrequency (rf) position monitoring and information technology (ti) technique. The present invention relates to a method of controlling the use of epi in the worker's body consisting of a monitoring system formed by radio frequency (RF) devices in order to force the continuous use of the epi by the worker and prevent accidents at work caused by the lack of use of the equipment. said radio frequency (rf) monitoring system is formed by a passive rfid tag tag (1) affixed to the epi (3) used by the worker to be monitored and a radio frequency (rf) signal emitter / receiver device (2) located on the body of the worker. on said label the information on the largest distance d between the radio frequency transmitter / receiver device (rf) (2) and the label itself is recorded, and such information is constantly compared with the actual distance d1, which is the distance between the radio frequency (rf) signal emitting / receiving device (2) and the epi (3) in the exercise of the worker's activity. if divergence occurs between the actual distance d1 of the epi and the distance d recorded on the passive rfid tag label (1), the information is transmitted via rf / digital antenna (8) to a fixed workstation (9) which processes it and communicates the worker in real time to correct the fact.
