A method for preparing sintered ore from a high-grade, vanadium rich, chromium-bearing vanadium–titanium magnetite (CVTM) concentrate mixture. The method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing high-grade, vanadium rich, CVTM concentrate powder, boron concentrate powder, iron concentrate powder, vanadium-extracted chromium-bearing waste, limestone, flux fines, a fuel, and return fines as raw materials; (2) crushing the fuel, and wetting the return fines with water; (3) preparing water to be mixed; (4) adding the water followed by granulation; (5) distributing a thick material layer for ignition and sintering to form hot sintered ore; (6) crushing and sieving the hot ore, and cooling the part of the ore with a particle size ≥ 5 mm; and (7) spraying a chlorine-containing inhibitor before use in blast furnaces.
