Provided are a quantum computation device (10) and a method for realizing a photonic quantum logic gate. The method comprises: a quantum computation device (10) receiving inputted laser light to excite a four-level quantum dot (12) to a biexciton state (402); and if the four-level quantum dot (12) transitions from the biexciton state to a single-exciton state, the quantum computation device (10) sequentially receiving a first single-photon pulse, a second single-photon pulse and a third single-photon pulse which are inputted (404). Using laser light and inputting a single-photon pulse to the quantum computation device (10) can realize a (SWAP)1/2 gate.
