Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a network node (110), for handling emergency numbers and Uniform Resource Names, URNs, identifying the emergency services. The network node (110) sends, to a UE (120), a message comprising an available emergency number, a URN identifying the emergency service and a separate text string describing the emergency service associated to the available emergency number and/or the URN identifying the emergency service. Embodiments herein further relate to a method performed by a UE (120), for handling emergency numbers and URNs identifying the emergency services. The UE (120) receives, from a network node (110), a message comprising an emergency number, an URN identifying the associated emergency service and a separate text string describing the emergency service associated to the emergency number and/or the URN identifying the emergency service. The UE (120) displays the received separate text string describing the available emergency service alone or in combination with the corresponding emergency number or URN.
