The present invention relates to a perovskite metal oxide catalyst for methane dry reforming reactions to suppress carbon deposition due to increased nickel content, and a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a catalyst capable of increasing stability in the catalyst and suppressing carbon deposition by substituting Ti on the perovskite metal oxide catalyst (SrTiO_3) with Ni, and Sr with Y. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof.
