The artificial feed composition for breeding Locusta migratoria includes wheat meal and fish meal, and preferably comprises the wheat meal and the fish meal at a weight ratio of 1.5-2.5 : 1. The provided artificial feed composition for breeding Locusta migratoria and the artificial breeding method of Locusta migratoria using the same contribute to the increased income of farming households by eliminating economic losses caused by a lot of labor input consumed for the breeding of host plants in conventional methods since the artificial breeding of Locusta migratoria becomes possible as an alternative of conventional host plants which have been used as the feed of Locusta migratoria.
