The present invention relates to a Bacillus tequilensis 2F-NA strain having a nitrogen reducing activity and a microbial agent for reducing nitrogen using the same. The Bacillus tequilensis 2F-NA strain has nitrite oxidizing ability, denitrification ability, and nitrogen reducing ability, and thus can be effectively utilized as an eco-friendly nitrogen reducing microbial agent in a water treatment process for nitrogen treatment.
