The present invention relates to a fast adaptive CFAR detection method in a radar mounting an array antenna, which has a low rank (LR) interference scenario in which the number of samples required to estimate the covariance matrix for the interference signal is limited, and is performed by an operating system of a radar mounting the array antenna. According to the present invention, the fast adaptive CFAR detection method is very effective when detecting targets in a situation having low sample numbers in the radar mounting an adaptive array antenna.
