Rheumatoid arthritis inhibitors, prophylactic and therapeutic agents are provided that have no side effects and are capable of normalizing the immune dysfunction of rheumatoid arthritis. It is a rheumatoid arthritis inhibitor, prophylactic or therapeutic agent which contains an euglena-derived substance as an active ingredient. It is used as an antirheumatic drug which controls the activity of rheumatoid arthritis by improving immune abnormalities in rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used for biologics that have not been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It is continuously administered to a living body from before the definite diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis to the arbitrary time after receiving definite diagnosis. The euglena-derived material impregnates the colliding object by ejecting the euglena granules, the paramylon derived from the euglena, the water-soluble amorphous paramylon subjected to alkali treatment and neutralization treatment to the paramilon, and the aqueous paramylon solution from the pore nozzle at a high pressure.
