The present invention concerns a method of computation caching in a SSC (Small Serving Cell) of a MEC (Mobile Edge Computing) network, the SSC being provided with local computing and cache memory resources. The UEs may request an offloading of a computational task to the SSC, each task being represented by a sequence of input bits, a number of CPU cycles per bit, and by a computation result. The present invention proposes a caching policy based on a caching metric defined as an increasing function of the product of the popularity of the task by the size of the input data and a decreasing function of the size of the computation result. The computation results corresponding to the tasks of higher metric values enjoy a higher priority for being stored in the cache memory.
