To select a point of attraction that can increase the likelihood of an appropriate response to attack traffic.SOLUTION: An attack response location selection device includes an acquisition unit that acquires the traffic amount of each of a plurality of first transfer devices related to a path of an attack traffic, and a select unit that respectively gives a priority based on the traffic amount to second transfer devices extracted from the plurality of first transfer devices on the basis of a comparison between the traffic volume of each of the first transfer devices and the upper limit of the traffic volume that can be dealt with by a defense device dealing with the attack traffic, and selects the third highest transfer device in the priority order as a point of attraction in traffic to the defense device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
