PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a buried object that is hidden behind an obstacle in a dielectric, at low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a buried object survey device 10 for transmitting/receiving a radio wave to and from a concrete structure and thereby surveying a buried object in the concrete structure, comprising: a transmitting array antenna unit 11 provided with a plurality of transmitting antenna elements 23 for transmitting a radio wave; power feeding circuit means 17 for supplying electric power from excitation power generation means 16 to the transmitting antenna elements and exciting the same; a receiving antenna element unit 24 for receiving a reflected radio wave from the buried object and outputting a reflection signal; three-dimensional map computation means 21 for computing the position of the buried object using the time-series data of the reflected signal and the generation timing of the radio wave. The power feeding circuit means 17 for selecting, by switching, a length of power feeding path from the excitation power generation means 16 to each transmitting antenna element 23 and thereby altering the excitation phase difference, etc., of the radio wave transmitted by the plurality of transmitting antenna elements, whereby the directivity of a composite wave into which these radio waves are synthesized is altered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
