A system for checking a freight state by using a blockchain technology in combined international transportation is disclosed. The present invention provides a method for checking a freight state by a freight state checking system, the method comprising the steps of: generating a sidechain including freight transportation information through a carrier terminal for scanning an electronic code attached to freight, or updating the freight transportation information to the generated sidechain; collecting, through a management server, freight images captured at a departure point and an arrival point of a transportation route, received from at least one carrier terminal involved in a freight transportation process; and determining whether there is an abnormality in a freight state through the freight images collected through the management server and the freight transportation information included in the sidechain, and including the freight transportation information, which is included in the sidechain, into a central blockchain.
