Disclosed by the present invention is an Fe3+/2+-NO donor mixed-valence coordination polymer Fex+4(BPDB) (H2O)2; in the molecular formula, Fex+ represents Fe3+ and Fe2+, and BPDB is an NO donor:1,5-bis (L-proline azo-O2-)-2,4-dinitrobenzene. Further provided by the present invention are nanoparticles of the Fe3+/2+-NO donor mixed-valence coordination polymer, the nanoparticles having higher water solubility and stability, and being capable of passively targeting tumors by means of the enhanced permeability and retention effect (EPR effect) of solid tumors. In response to high concentrations of GSH and high concentrations of H2O2 in a tumor microenvironment, NO is released and ROS is generated to achieve the efficient, low-toxicity, and synergistic treatment of tumors.
