The present invention relates to a method for evaluating a filling state of a backfill material of a shield TBM tunnel segment and a device for evaluating the filling state of the backfill material using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for evaluating the filling state of the backfill material of the shield TBM tunnel segment comprises: a step of performing an impact echo test for each of a ′segment filled with the backfill material′ and a ′segment not filled with the backfill material′, and collecting the item-specific data of the backfill material filling state determination standard repeatedly for a predetermined number of times; a step of deriving a backfill material filling state determination standard through a statistical analysis on the collected item-specific data; and a step of determining a target segment state according to the derived backfill material state determination standard.
