The present invention relates to dendritic fibrous nanosilica (DFNS) core-Zn-based coordination polymer shell nanoparticles or DFNS/gold nanoparticle core-Zn-based coordination polymer shell nanoparticles, and applications thereof. In the present invention, DFNS and DFNS/gold hybrid nanostructures are synthesized, and nanostructures on the surface of which a Zn-based coordination polymer layer is efficiently formed are synthesized. The nanoparticles are useful as catalysts.
