Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a CdSe/ZnSe quantum dot/nanorod hetero nano structure formed by heterojunction of a ZnSe nanorod on the surface of a CdSe quantum dot. It has been found that the CdSe/ZnSe quantum dot/nanorod hetero nano structure is very difficult to synthesize and can be successfully synthesized only under certain conditions suggested by the present invention. If the certain conditions are not satisfied, the CdSe/ZnSe quantum dot/nanorod hetero nano structure is not obtained. Therefore, the method of manufacturing a CdSe/ZnSe quantum dot/nanorod hetero nano structure formed by heterojunction of a ZnSe nanorod on the surface of a CdSe quantum dot comprises the following steps of: synthesizing the CdSe quantum dot by making a cadmium (Cd) precursor react with a selenium (Se) precursor; mixing a zinc (Zn) precursor, the selenium (Se) precursor and the CdSe quantum dot in a reaction solution containing alkylamine, and adjusting a mole ratio of the zinc (Zn) precursor and the selenium (Se) precursor to a range of 1:2 to 2:1; and one-dimensionally growing a ZnSe nanorod on the surface of the CdSe quantum dot by heating the reaction solution, wherein the alkylamine may be oleylamine. Also, a temperature for heating the reaction solution may be adjusted to a range greater than 180C and less than 330C.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
