The present invention relates to a battlefield modeling and simulation system based on a multi-resolution model. The system comprises: a multi-resolution model development/operation tool unit that develops and operates a model in which multiple resolutions are integrated; and a multi-resolution model simulation engine unit that executes a multi-resolution model and manages a resolution conversion event. The multi-resolution model development/operation tool unit and the multi-resolution model simulation engine unit are run in a client/server (C/S) role relationship in a single computer environment and a distributed computer environment. The system converts the resolution of the multi-resolution model according to the resolution conversion condition, manages resolution events and general events, and converts input events to match a specific resolution.
