The present invention relates to a novel photocatalyst and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a photocatalyst capable of converting CO ₂ to CH ₄ at high efficiency under sunlight, wherein the photocatalyst uses a noble metal. The present invention relates to a photocatalyst of a pnp heterojunction structure, which is not used, and a method for efficiently preparing the same.
